Alabandite

Alabandite is a sulfide or sulfosalt mineral with the formula MnS. It has a Mohs hardness of 3.5-4, typically black or brown in color, with a metallic or submetallic luster, a specific gravity of 3.95-4.04. Its streak is green; cleavage is perfect.
