Anthophyllite

Anthophyllite is a silicate mineral with the formula ܆Mg2Mg5Si8O22(OH)2, crystallizing in the orthorhombic system. It has a Mohs hardness of 5.5-6, typically brown, gray, green or yellow in color, with a pearly or vitreous luster, a specific gravity of 3.1-3.5. Its streak is gray or red.
