Dolomite

Dolomite is a carbonate or nitrate mineral with the formula CaMg(CO3)2, crystallizing in the trigonal system. It has a Mohs hardness of 3, typically white, black, brown or gray in color, with a pearly or vitreous luster, a specific gravity of 2.8-2.9. Its streak is white.
