Hureaulite is a phosphate, arsenate, or vanadate mineral with the formula Mn2+5(PO3OH)2(PO4)2·4H2O. It has a Mohs hardness of 5, typically colorless, brown, gray or orange in color, with a greasy or vitreous luster, a specific gravity of 3.185. Its streak is white.
