Molybdite

Molybdite is an oxide or hydroxide mineral with the formula MoO3, crystallizing in the orthorhombic system. It has a Mohs hardness of 1-2, typically white or yellow in color, with an adamantine or earthy luster, a specific gravity of 4.49-4.5. Its streak is white.
