Sodalite

Na4(Si3Al3)O12ClIMA symbol: Sdlgrandfathered

Sodalite is a silicate mineral with the formula Na4(Si3Al3)O12Cl, crystallizing in the cubic system. It has a Mohs hardness of 5.5-6, typically white, blue, gray or green in color, with a greasy or vitreous luster, a specific gravity of 2.14-2.5. Its streak is red.
