Trona

Na3(HCO3)(CO32H2OIMA symbol: Tngrandfathered

Trona is a carbonate or nitrate mineral with the formula Na3(HCO3)(CO3)·2H2O, crystallizing in the monoclinic system. It has a Mohs hardness of 2.5-3, typically white, gray or yellow in color, with a vitreous luster, a specific gravity of 2.11-2.14. Its streak is white.
