Turquoise

Turquoise is a phosphate, arsenate, or vanadate mineral with the formula CuAl6(PO4)4(OH)8·4H2O, crystallizing in the triclinic system. It has a Mohs hardness of 6, typically blue, gray or green in color, with a waxy luster, a calculated density of 2.927 g/cm3. Its streak is white or green.
