Tyrolite is a phosphate, arsenate, or vanadate mineral with the formula Ca2Cu9(AsO4)4(CO3)(OH)8·11H2O, crystallizing in the monoclinic system. It has a Mohs hardness of 1-1.5, typically blue or green in color, with a pearly or vitreous luster, a specific gravity of 3.12. Its streak is green; cleavage is perfect.
